Gita Bass is a New York-based makeup artist. An Australian native, Bass worked extensively throughout Europe before settling in New York City. Today, her celebrity clientele includes Elizabeth Olsen, Daisy Ridley, Sarah Paulson, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, and Juno Temple. Gita has contributed to top publications such as W, Vanity Fair, ELLE, Rolling Stone, Interview, and Harper’s Bazaar, and has collaborated with high-profile photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Antoine Verglas, Marc Baptiste, and Mark Seliger. She has worked on major advertising campaigns for Garnier, Clairol, Nike, American Express, and Tommy Hilfiger.
