Shirley Kurata

Shirley Kurata is a Los Angeles-based stylist. Her vivid work is known for its abundance of patterns and never shies from color. She has styled advertising campaigns for Westfield, Volkswagen, Clinique, Target, and Oliver Peoples, among others. She partners frequently with photographers JUCO, and has a special collaborative relationship with Danish-born London designer Peter Jensen, having often styled his collections and in turn becoming the inspiration for a special collection from the designer himself based on her signature look. Shirley styled Pharrell for television’s The Voice, and her work has also been featured in publications such as Paper and Nuvo.
