Ilaria Urbinati
Ilaria Urbinati was born in Rome and raised in Paris. She started out in fashion as a buyer for high-end boutiques Laura Urbinati, Satine, and Milk, being the first to bring many top European designers to the west coast. This led to the opening of her own store Confederacy, where she collaborated on a line of perfectly tailored suits prominently worn by Ryan Gosling’s character in Crazy, Stupid, Love, which sold out almost immediately. She went on to create successful capsule collections for Eddie Bauer, Montblanc, The Mighty Company, Rebecca Minkoff, London Sock Company, Roots of Fight, and a line of suits with Strong Suit exclusively for Nordstrom. She has had partnerships with Porsche, Walmart, and David Yurman. Her ability to consistently get red carpet clients on every best-dressed list led to her being a fixture on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Most Powerful Stylists”, with cover shoots three years in a row, including one alongside her client Dwayne Johnson for the “Most Influential Stylists of The Decade” issue.
