Aurélie Payen is a makeup artist with over 15 years of experience in the industry. A nod to her cinematic background, Aurélie specializes in makeup for film festivals, press junkets and award shows. She approaches her craft with a refined touch as a way to illuminate and manifest a person’s innate beauty.
An avid traveller, Aurélie began her career overseas working on French films. Upon her return to France, she received professional training in makeup artistry from the Make Up Atelier Paris. Dedicated to perfecting her technique, Aurélie worked on various shoots, videos, and television shows.
In 2007, she had a unique opportunity to work for Franck Provost company that led her to perfect her innate skills on high-level celebrities during Cannes Film Festivals. Aurélie quickly developed a reputation as a professional makeup artist who could take her clients from a natural daytime look to red-carpet glam in the evening.
Aurélie has also worked with several fashion houses during Fashion Week including Dior and Miu-Miu, and has been a makeup artist for Elie Saab since 2011. Some of her creative editorial photo shoots can be found in Vanity Fair, Elle, and Numéro.
Her roster of past clients includes Rosario Dawson, Cara Delevingne, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Kate Hudson, Kendall Jenner, Viggo Mortensen and Sylvester Stallone.
