Michael Fisher

Michael Fisher brings a unique direction to fashion styling. His background in photography and interest in visual culture is evident in the aesthetic he constructs. Michael first moved to New York City to study photography at the School of Visual Arts. Upon graduation, he worked as the archivist at Annie Leibovitz Studio while continuing to pursue his own photography. Always interested in fashion, but not wanting to become a fashion photographer, he decided to shift careers and began to assist noted fashion stylists including Bill Mullen, Lori Goldstein and Rachel Zoe.

Michael’s first celebrity client was Mickey Rourke during his Oscar campaign for The Wrestler, which resulted in the most talked about men’s fashion story of the award season. He recently received accolades for his work with Jonah Hill during the Wolf of Wall Street press tour and awards appearances. Other celebrity clients include Paul Rudd, Michael Shannon, Jason Segel, Bryan Cranston and James Corden.

Michael has styled editorials for L’uomo Vogue, GQ, Interview, Essential Homme and The New York Times Magazine. His advertising clients include Armani Exchange, Alexander Wang, Perry Ellis, DKNY, Hugo Boss, American Express and Disney.

Michael lives in New York City.
