Deborah Afshani

Deborah Afshani began her fashion career working in the New York offices of Harper's Bazaar, Vogue Italia and W assisting iconic stylists Brana Wolf and Alex White.

She is often recognized for her discerning eye and keen understanding of beauty, elegance, precision and proportion. With a background spanning French, Iranian and American cultures, Deborah is heavily influenced by the European fashion and art she was exposed to from a young age.

Her multifaceted aesthetic spans a variety of different styles while always maintaining a fresh modernity and rich understated sophistication. From breathtaking glamour to hard-edge minimalism, period costume styling to street wear, her astute design sensibility conveys themes with effortless grace.

Deborah is a contributing stylist for Vanity Fair.

She works in both Los Angeles and New York, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, artist and furniture designer, Jon Keay, and their daughter.
