Sage Maitri

Sage Maitri has over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, where she has worked for some of the world's best photographers, including Raymond Meier and Patrick Demarchelier. Her work has been featured on the pages of Vogue, ELLE, Vanity Fair, as well as seminal fashion outlets such as Nylon and SOMA.

From a very young age, Sage knew that working behind-the-scenes in fashion is where she ultimately belonged.

At the age of 24, she moved to New York City to work for famed Japanese clothing designer Issey Miyake, but soon realized she was looking for something that afforded more creativity. After rediscovering her love of makeup, she quickly worked her way up through the ranks, working alongside the industry’s best artists in the process. Sage was first assistant to Val Garland for several years, and assisted many other top makeup artists, including Charlotte Tilbury and Christian McCulloch.

Once out on her own, Sage became known for her consistent ability to deliver flawless skin, and her up-to-the-minute looks combined with a fearless use of color. She is always looking for ways to combine and contrast classic beauty ideas with contemporary trends.

In 2009, she relocated to Los Angeles with her daughter and husband, where she maintains a roster of high-level advertising, editorial, and celebrity clients.
